I would like to set this submission to "Delayed" as I have found a way, not to end the final battle quicker, but to end input sooner. I am going to optimize it when my life becomes a little less busy. Thank you. Edit: Here we go. Backed off to the left for the final shot so I could ascend earlier, thereby landing on the cloud 24 frames sooner. No change to actual fight time.

Do you plan on a possible improvement to the original Punky Skunk on PSX someday now that you're back with the series? Would love to see another PCSX movie get knocked off.
I have no plans for such at this time.

Alright, now that I've sorted out the virus protection issue... Trying to record a movie using BSNES, and I've had it crash on me frequently, but irregularly. Sometimes I can go a couple of days without issue, other times I crash twice in three minutes. Half the time it crashes, I get this message; other times, it just freezes and I have to go into Task Manager to force it to close. There was also a time I got this error, but it didn't close:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

I have only observed these issues whenever there's a movie open for a SNES game, and it has crashed both recording and watching; then again, I haven't used the emulator for much regular gameplay or making movies of other systems yet. I'll report back if I have these same issues under other circumstances. I've also had the emulator randomly close on me when soft resetting. Also an error dialogue once, but I haven't been able to capture a screengrab of that. Will post when I do. Oh, and "Autoload Watches" does not seem to function when I open BizHawk by dragging a ROM onto the executable when "Autoload with Bizhawk" is selected. It works fine when I open Bizhawk first, open a ROM, then open the RAM Watch window manually. Only mentioning this because it seemed to work on past versions.[/userfile]

Um. Where did the BizHawk2.5 executables go? They were there this morning. I wonder if it was my antivirus. Edit: It was my antivirus

I just checked to see if Wikipedia had something on it, and found that they used what was essentially the exact same proof, only a bit more elegant since they let u=ln x, which then only required one use of the chain rule. Good to know that my thinking wasn't so esoteric after all. Said article also went on to discuss how negatives raised to irrationals aren't "well behaved", but it didn't say that the proof no longer applied there. Either way, it just confirms that exponentials are weird the moment you start digging into them.

Of all the things to feel oddly proud about, I think I managed to solve dxa/dx for the general case of a using e substitution. Solve for the following dxa = f'(x) dx Let x = eu deua deu Since deu = eudu then 1 . deua eu du Apply, the chain rule, you get aeua = aeuae-u = aeu(a-1) eu Substitute x=eu back in f'(x) = axa-1 You may now tell me I'm wrong.

All these trees in the submission notes and no mention of the obvious Evergreen Terrace.

I'm in a similar boat with Warp. One of my biggest regrets in life is not taking any formal math courses beyond college level algebra. Regardless, I love the subject and am always trying to learn more about it and find myself completely humbled to look in this topic. Then I go to work where "Subtract x from both sides" is practically god-tier skills. On the present subject, I do remember tooling around on Wolfram and discovering that the limit of the real part of Zeta(1) as you approach from the direction of i is the EM constant. Doesn't surprise me as Zeta(1) is used in defining the constant in the first place, but both real and imaginary parts seem to shoot off to infinity if approached from any other direction (barring the real directions, where the imaginary part is 0), which in my mind creates a very weird looking pole. Now clearly, actually understanding why this is the case is beyond me, but I do have to wonder, is this fact part of assigning the EM constant to Zeta(1)?

Cutscenes in this game have a pool of different dialogue that is chosen at random.

Recently I found myself getting back into Megazeux after a very long absence. For those who don't know, Megazeux is basically ZZT with blackjack and hookers: custom tiles and pallettes, digital sound, etc. While poking around, I came across this speedrun of all the Zeux games and, noticing he failed to use a significant trick I remember from years ago, decided to take a crack at it myself. Link to video At one point in iamgreaser's video, he mentioned that someone was working on implementing TAS features for the engine. I can't seem to find anything about it, so I'm going to ask them what's up.

That's the jeep problem, related to the harmonic series.

Is this treatment of spacetime as a dimension accomplished by using c to convert between distance and time? I've heardheard that sometimes equations are simpler if you refer to distances by the time it takes light to travel them, which is quite like what the lightyear does. It would also mean that velocity would be measured as a dimensionless fraction of c.

I came here to watch bombs get defused, not receive a lecture on relativistic physics in a foreign language.

You think that's bad, I've been hanging around since late 2004 and haven't really progressed beyond basic memory watching. You're doing better than I am.

There's also a couple of FPSs along those lines, although I forget what they're called.

Shockwave, and support for it, was officially dropped last year. It's a shame. The other week I had a hankering to replay Xananeko but couldn't.

I should clarify I wasn't referring to the "Executive of Fear" part.
