Hello! Now that I'm free for a while, I thought about if get back to translating or not the site, and well I think I can do it! I know I did some mistakes (must of them minor mistakes but also there was also really stupid mistakes). But well, after doing my two last TAS and comparing them with all my other (private) TAS, I really improve at it, and I feel I can it can be the same at translating, also I can improve my (bad) english. ---- ¡Hola! ---- I'm now translating Movie Class Guidelines, I finished half of the document, I'm trying my best ♥ Estoy traduciendo el Manual para clasificar películas, ya pasé la mitad del documento, trato de dar lo mejor ♥

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/49461666174168969 Someone plz replace the movie file with this 7 frame improvement! Which uses the ladder tricks in the 3rd floor to go even faster. Also note that there are still two ladders in Stage 3 that I ignored and didn't do the trick, because I tried it and for some reason is much slower *thinking*

When I saw the NGP movies for the first time I've got a bit dissapointed because there wasn't a Metal Slug 1st/2nd Mission TAS, but now we have a movie for the 2nd Mission! :D About the movie, I like it... a lot! Specially the rhythm parts

This was oddly interesting but got old well before the 15 minutes was up. I voted meh.
Didn't understand about "got old well" (I think I got it), but thank you, VB needs more love, even if it's for vault.

This is just the same thing just corrected sta-- Title Screen shows up after a puzzle is completed Check time of original submission Oh-- That's how the 2 minutes of improvements works. And here I was just going to do a gif of a sidebyside of old and new for just the start. Heck No. Here's an Encode: Link to video Great job on improving and taking the advice.
10q m8! And don't worry, nobody will really want a sidebyside of old and new... no, nobody... just the original encode is okay, 10q x2.

Took me a while to understand what the objective of each level was. A description of the rules of puzzle mode might be helpful for others. It seems well optimized, but at over 15 minutes, it gets repetitive pretty quickly. Meh for entertainment, I think this is a good vault candidate.
Yes, before starting the movie, I knew it would finish as a Vault movie, but well, isn't reason to get discouraged :p I didn't think someone won't understand the goal of puzzle mode, but well... thank you for letting me know and the "meh" vote :p

I was skeptical at first thinking it was a my end thing back when the Top Gear 2 TASes came out but once I hit the VBoy I have to question it. Dunno how, or why... and I actually don't know what to write on the actual bug report but here it is, whatever the hell this is to VBoy and Double Res to SNES: Hawk 2.2.2 Dumping (Correct). Normal SNES Hawk 2.3 Dumping (Incorrect). From frame 0 Start recording a bit in and it's double res'd. SNES ---- At least screenshots are fine. :\
About Virtual Boy I think that because starts frame 0 with Anaglyph, but it changes to Side by side in frame 1. While this is being fixed you can dump with the config AVI/WAV and enable Resize video to avoid this problem (probably you know it I don't know why I'm saying this (?)). The VB resolutions are: (anagliph / side by side) 1x: 384 x 224 / 768 x 224 2x: 768 x 448 / 1536 x 448 3x: 1152 x 672 / 2304 x 672 4x: 1536 x 896 / 3072 x 896

I already tested, it doesn't skip it completely but it does save 2 frames over what you did in your movie: User movie #48685527547943091
Well... I'm disappointed in myself. Please, cancel/delay/reject/something-else this TAS, I've found a big mistake in this TAS and I have to start from scratch. While making the TAS I had the idea about resetting the game after finishing the level, but with power button it just KILL much frames! So I've continue with the animation to go another level. Thanks to the MESHUGGAH's VB page I've discovered the Soft Reset, I'm a dumb while trying ABsS, ABLR BUT DIDN'T TESTED ABsSLR! After testing, I see it saved 313 frames (from 2911 to 2598)! So... it's time to restart. I'm really disappointed but also happy because I learn with my mistakes ♥ Memory, kill this please.

I really doubt, you'll see this in the only frame that display it I'll keep testing with that and waiting some time with fast forward to see if it automatically pauses or not.

It is possible to get past the Option Automatic Pause screen 2 frames faster than you did. If you press right plus a on the same frame you will skip it as soon as possible. Thanks to MESHUGGAH's Virtual Boy page for this. Let me know if this can be incorporated or not.
I think not, I just tried right and a as you say but it keeps on and starts the game. Tested Jack Bros. and it's the same, keeps on and start. Mario Tennis work! Using → + A starts the game with off! Nester's Funky Bowling does not. Teleroboxer nope. Panic Bomber dope! (works). Ok these tests prove some games can skip "automatic pause" message by pressing → + A at the same time, but some others does not, and 3-D Tetris does not.

The last A-press at the end of the input file does not change how long it takes to get to credits, input can be cut off much sooner.
The animation is TOO SLOW, pressing A button makes the animation faster (2x faster I think) and gets to the credits faster :3 (the credits show you how long the animation takes if you don't press anything. If I do what you say, why not better place the last shape and stop the movie? But it also takes soooo long to go down if I don't press RT.

It's probably a better idea to start the run from clean SRAM because you can collect certain A coins before beating 7-2 for the first time and then go back to those stages to collect eggs.
Look at the 0:10 it says A = 0%, I didn't collected any A coin when I was completing the game for get the SRAM. In 7-2, there's a Egg that you have to go outside, and outside there's the 3rd A coin. About the other coins I've found someting curious for getting that coins. I've also remembered I can collect some A coins in 1-2 and the 3rd in 1-3 but the problem is for getting the Yoshi Eggs feature I have to end the credits and Save & Quit, if I restart without save in the credits, all unsaved will be lost.

Let me see if its possible both, but that's a very good idea!! Also let me see the location, I know where are located all Advance coins but I dont know where are some Yoshi Eggs (I know most but not all). I'll answer you if I can in no more than tomorrow. EDIT You Paused are in your lucky day! I can get all Advance coins and Yoshi Eggs at a same run, I've recently got the save file to start... Well! Let's a go... again! EDIT (again) OK GUYS! I've finally found all the addresses I need (also found a new useful one) 572A = Character X 5728 = Character Y 116C = Map X 116A = Map Y 1C56 = Speed X 1C5A = Speed Y 1993 = 256 frame rule 1C7F = Charge 1C76 = HP 1C89 = Air or surface This last one is because if im in the floor or a surface the value is 4, I may jump. When Im in the air the value is 0. I'll add it to the Addresses Sets soon...

In 1-1 Toad is faster than Luigi by 26 frames. I think its because the Toad's speed at the second map (before the door of 3rd coin) and because Luigi takes more frames for grab birdo's egg... http://www.mediafire.com/file/d21n8zil2opk05a/Luigi%20vs%20Toad.zip (I have to record a comparison but I dont still have the resource, sorry)

http://problemkaputt.de/gbatek.htm#gbamemorymap I forget which domain is which, but I would assume the On-chip work RAM being IWRAM, and the On-board work RAM being EWRAM. Test both for all values, not just one. If no value ever changes, first make sure you're using the same region ROM. Then, if you still have a problem, try to fetch it from Lua, there are lots of examples packaged with Bizhawk, you can start from one of them. You can also reference to this: http://tasvideos.org/Bizhawk/LuaFunctions.html If Lua works and RAM Watch doesn't, report a bug (if the issue is still present in the latest release). Otherwise you definitely have the wrong addresses and you need to find everything again.

Looking at the above table, we notice:
  03000000-03007FFF WRAM - On-chip Work RAM (32 KBytes)
And indeed, this memory block corresponds to IWRAM for Bizhawk, not EWRAM. Since these adresses only vary in their 4 last digits (from 0000 to 7FFF), the correct values to enter would be, with domain IWRAM:
1BFA 2 U x
1BFE 2 U y
1C2F 1 U charge
1C06 1 S spdX
1C0A 1 S spdY
1943 1 U 256 frames rule
214C 1 U HP
Nothing... is the same problem, but theres still 2 possible solutions, Lua and a new search (I've completed some % of that xD)... well, I hope Lua works (will be my first time).

So what's different RAM address display between VBA and Bizhawk?
I dont know, but when I wrote that RAM Addresses in BizHawk, it didn't pasted the address entirely, its a 6-digit limit. When I copy (for example) 03001C2F it appears as:

Why not a A-coins run? I dont think it means 100% but it can be entertainment (I think). I've already made a movie a few months ago but... its a very bad TAS and I think about restart everything from start (because I've chosen a wrong rom and even the Intro its a "A" button spam), well, when I get free-time, and get motivated I'll start. If someone wants to watch it even if its trash not very well made here it go! http://www.mediafire.com/file/b4i4k7g2ibkng0k/ GameName Super Mario Advance (USA) (Demo) (Kiosk) SHA1 05E41B04CDCD73194C0F836639C5774779F50A3F GBA_Firmware_Bios 300C20DF6731A33952DED8C436F7F186D25D3492

I remember the first TAS video I've watched, was Super Mario 64 120 stars run (the current one), I've watched it in the Sonicpacker's YT channel, and I didnt knew what does TAS mean or what is it, so I've assumed that was a Speedrun with a different name, and I reacted like "how many people have attempted to make a Speedrun more than 2 million times?! Only for making it perfect" haha well, when I've get what does TAS mean I've still thinking the same but less dramatic xD "how many people have attempted to TAS a game rerecording more than 2 million times?! Only for making it perfect! How much effort" wow 5 years for a TAS, I've discovered that video and TAS in general in 2014 but I've registered in TASVideos this year :D
