Well, it has been some 5 months since I've "converted" BizHawk TAS to Mesen (that convert was just removing the last | every line).
Now, it's the turn for FCEUX, which has some 400+ TAS, but as FCEUX has a different pattern, I used a Python program to make it a Mesen/BizHawk friendly file.
The method to ensure the TAS syncs in Mesen is the same I did with BizHawk -> Mesen: Play, do other things while playing and when it pauses, I see if the movie sync or not.
A little more than 100+ movies sync in Mesen (yay), the other 300- files desync due to lags, luck fails, CPU decisions or other accuracy differences.
Only the FDS tloz TAS has much edits to make it sync, I was just curious to see that ACE working.
I would upload the files synced in Mesen but I don't have internet in my computer and I'm on mobile so once I get internet (probably not soon) I'll upload all them to MediaFire/GDrive and list them somewhere (maybe editing this post)

-You closed quotes but didn't open them, after --load-state= add a quotes (")
-You didn't load a rom
You can use: EmuHawk --load-slot=1 %ROM%
(replace %ROM% with castlevania game)

FCEUX uses IPS patch to "simulate SRAM" in FCEUX, it would probably work but first, it's needed to first get the sram (IPS) with the progress of game completed 8 times or something better, duplicate the "sram" ips (copy-paste in the same directory with " - copy" in the name) and then make the TAS. In the submission text provide a download link of the "sram" ips.
That's my idea, I don't know if is a good idea or what...

The only part I liked in the TAS is the pipe glitch at 8-1 but it also can be improved...
Here's my attempt of the 8-1 pipe (which probably can also be improved):

I have a problem, in the mame-rr 0.139-v0.1beta I try to playback a movie but after unpausing it instantly stop playback due to "out of sync" and I don't know what's wrong :/
Command-Line utilized: mame-rr splatterj -playback movie.mar

Before answering, I recognize MKV and MP4 are similar in size and I appreciate your effort to make encodes at the smallest size you can.
I don't know... I'm used to play the encodes in the MPEG-4 container, and don't know exactly how are both encoded (codec and settings). Matroska is good (I use it sometimes) but I don't know how well will be played, also as the only thing I have to play most encodings is my PC... I in rare cases play the movies in a Wii and being like a Cinema... (to not get easily bored and variate, Idk xD).
I don't care quality, I just want to watch, but if you suggest it, I can download Matroska encodes when watching in my PC :D

Thank god movie files are very small sized.
And you don't download the standard definition files either, right? Just watch in the browser?
Rare cases, if I can't watch from the beginning in the emulator (either a desync in the title screen or an issue), I download it and if I really liked it to make worth watching it for second time, I have no need to load it again in the browser.
If it desyncs in a part... before the end for example, I open the MP4 Compatibility and forward to the part desynced in the emulator.
So it depends.
1: Watch in emulator via movie file.
2: Open MP4 and forward to desynced part.
3: Download MP4 for use internet once and watch the times I want (based in how much I liked the movie)... or for watch later.

Now I know what's PikachuMan's problem with video dumping.
I was trying to dump video with ffmpeg writer, in the newest release it was updated, so in MP4, it tries to dump with libvo_aacenc, but it isn't a selectable codec anymore in ffmpeg, so I tried to change it to aac but at the first frame recording I notice the change doesn't applies (still uses libvo_aacenc), the only customable format is the custom (obviously), any change to other options doesn't do anything. So for encoding, the only change must be from libvo_aacenc to aac, the others work perfectly.
For MP4 encoding must be -c:a aac -c:v libx264 -f mp4.
PikachuMan, use this in the custom option while this is solved (or not, do it forever from now).
Fixed; all three codec presets that were using libvo_aac now use aac. If the UI is allowing you to customize the non-custom presets (or type something in there to make it look like you're doing that, then that's a different bug.
