I just linked to that video... Or did you mean the top comment on that video talking about the person's palms bleeding? That's an example of what I'm talking about.

I thought the run was really entertaining (especially the autoscroller level) and I liked watching you break the levels. This belongs on the site. Yes vote.

Also...who used the palm of their hand to rotate the control stick? >____>
Enough people got hurt from minigames like Tug-O-War that Nintendo decided not to release it on VC. He was talking about Mario Party 1 specifically, but if he finds Mupen too annoying, like you said, there's always Mario Party 4-7 on GameCube.

The encode I watched was this one, which shows from 1-1 to the beginning of 4-1. The part I was talking about starts at 5:04. It looks like the bot moves the screen about a pixel or two forward about every 70 frames, which is what it's supposed to do.

Oh, that makes sense. I assumed the random input was unweighted, but that approach wouldn't have made a good run with this game. Why does the bot get hung up on the stairs in 2-3 for so long? I watched the controller input graphic and it looked like the jump button was not pressed for a long period of time. Mario's X-position was barely changing or not changing at all, and he was running left and right into an immovable object.

Bisqwit, I'm impressed by the way your bot plays through the levels of Super Mario Bros. It even did some tricks in 1-3 with collision detection that a human would have trouble pulling off. How does BisqBot know to enter pipes to save time? Is D-Pad down part of the "random input" the bot uses on top of a pipe?

And then cancel.
Why would they cancel it? They are submitting the run because they want it to get published. Cancelling the submission would not help them reach that goal.

Nintendo has not released Mario Party 1 on the Virtual Console because some of the minigames required players to spin the Control Stick rapidly with their palms, causing irritation and injury. So unfortunately there is no version of the game that can be played on Dolphin.

Nice improvement, nitrogenesis. The jumping in the last two levels looked really good; it looked like you were going to miss those platforms. Yes vote.

[1947] NES Kirby's Adventure "game end glitch" by MUGG in 05:44.57 gets 11360 before the ball dies, then eventually starts a new game and doesn't launch the ball again (0 score).

It's possible to make a 4-player Mario Party TAS. It's just difficult to make because the emulator is very prone to desyncs (when the input loses sync with the game). You can still make the run if you're willing to work through the desyncs you will encounter.

Nice name change, Warp. :P
He's not Warp. He's a completely different person; he just has a similar name. Bobeque, I think applying the 4-player idea to Mario Party might make for a good run, but some people have expressed in the Mario Party thread that they don't think Adventure Mode would make for an interesting run because of having to wait for the characters to move around the board, collect stars, etc. Some have expressed interest in a 1-player Mini-Game Island TAS, though, where the action to cutscene ratio is larger.

Looks good so far. I'm finding it a little boring, though a lot of people might disagree with me, so don't let me stop you from submitting it when you've finished. By the way, your encode looked fine. What about it didn't "work properly"?

There was a lot happening on the screen most of the time, so this was pretty entertaining for me. Garfield should have gotten a better game though. Yes vote.

I wasn't sure whether to make a new topic for this game or not, but here is an old WIP (May 2011) I made of this game that I was planning to improve when VBA24-M came out, but I never did because I had other projects. If anyone wants to start running this game, I hope this helps them get started.

That long? How long is this game anyway?

Here is COEL625's video on skipping Robo-Sandy and Robot Patrick. Here is frozenstar0's original "disable the hand" glitch video. This is the only "Saving Game" glitch video I could find (the other one was itsPersonnal's, but was deleted from YouTube for some reason). That should help you with the Game Resources page.

I found this entertaining. Even though it's an improvement, it would be more than good enough to be published on its own. Yes vote.
