Found on Wikipedia this information of NES Micro Machines: ''Micro Machines was completed in September 1990. The game did not go through quality assurance, and as a result, a major bug that caused the game to crash was discovered near completion. The bug occurred when the player tried to reverse on the first race, and escaped notice because none of the testers thought to do so as they thought it was so easy. It was determined that just one binary bit was wrong, and a "mini Game Genie" was installed on the cartridges to correct it, as by the time the bug was discovered, there were plenty of ROM chips containing the bugged version.''

Hey guys! I decided to pick this game to TAS. Note how this game is tough to TAS (Lots of lag on almost every way). WIP: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/37499582443296370 I improved a lot of Viewer's old WIP (Dated March 23 2005) on Round 1-1, and a fix on Round 1-2. I originally started this run on BizHawk 1.11.7, but I stopped before because I picked other game to TAS. I changed the header to BizHawk 1.12.0. Note: This is the third topic of this SNES game. The first two topics is: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1962 http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3770

Great run, Meerkov! Liked your better RNG manipulation on Level 1 (which is tough to improve. I tried before) and the bosses improvements! Yes vote! NOTE: The actual run of this game is from 2005, not 2004 (since that last movie of 2004 was The Combatribes, which was obsoleted by a new run of this game did for Alyosha!). And also: Any plans for a Zombies ate my Neighbors ''all victims saved''? Your any% TAS was masterful!

I liked this run! Good Underflow Glitch and new routes! Yes vote. NOTE: Why title 1, title 2 and title 3 on your submission?

Yes vote Only for fun I tried to play the movie in "Monica no Castelo do Dragão" the first stage runs perfec, in the second stage got desync in shop.
It occurs because of bad RNG manipulation of the golds (2G instead of 4G on every hidden gold and 13G instead of 17G on bag coin). Because of this, my run on this brazilian version (on the end of Round 1) has 69G instead of 81G. That's why desyncs in shop.

Easy yes vote. Excellent work! I am a bit conflicted which sound should be used. The FM sound is easier on the ears but the other one is more old school like but it was annoying constantly hearing the high beeping sound of low health. But it was done purposefully so I can't blame you for that.
PSG sound differs a lot of FM sound, as well as RNG drops and big rats pattern. Low-health alarm is really awful on PSG sound. That's reason why I provided a FM sound (It was easy to paste my input on FM TAS). Well, there's other SMS games that support FM sound.

For clarification on the text, this run's based on v1.1 while the previous one uses v1.0, right? Is there major difference in boss health between two?
The previous run is actually 1.1 version, as well as cancelled OmegaWatcher's run. Example of first boss between japanese version + earlier english 1.0 and default version 1.1: On version 1.1, the boss has 2 hp (Yellow and Red): But, on different version, the boss has 4 hp (Blue, Green, Yellow and Red):

I discovered this site on December 2010 (day 21 or 22, I think), while I was watching Super Bomberman SNES TAS by nitsuja on Google Video. I liked a lot this site. Starting from this day, I'll visit this site everyday. And watching those TASes, TASVideos changed my life. Before I become a member (Back from 22/02/2017), I actually TASed some test runs, such as Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday and Battletoads in Battlemaniacs (Master System). But, my tests were did on 2012. When I started a DinoCity TAS on snes9x (2 days before February 22), I decided to join on this site, to post my WIPs and much more later, my complete runs.

I tested my input TAS on the FM sound: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/37186154684023137 Syncs until the start of Stage 7. EDIT: Bad News: I haven't expected that the bosses on the Japanese version and the previous USA 1.0 version has more HP than USA 1.1 version (All of previous runs was done on 1.1 version). Unfortunately, this run is done. :(

Great improvements! Nice to see you again. :) I liked your lag reduction in the Clock Tower. Very good strategy. Yes vote. And other thing: It's possible to defeat the boss of Blk 4-03 (The Vampire Bat) using only whip, as well as possible to defeat all of the little bats with a single hit, and to reduce some lag during the last small little bats. I saved 42 frames on this battle: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/37125403203991102

Thanks for asking. You'll see my next TAS in about three months, hopefully. I've been working very hard on that project and I hope things continue to go as planned. :)
Super Mario Bros. or Extra Mario Bros? And speaking of Extra Mario Bros, I think it's possible to get to the final boss by getting 5 keys instead of 8 keys. I can't remember correctly, because it's been a few years (2012, I think) since I last played that game.

Excellent new improvements! I liked a lot! :) Yes vote! But, one note: In Cossack Stage 3 Boss Battle, isn't possible for a little wait to manipulate a critical hit when you used Pharaohman's weapon?

Finished this TAS: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/36951836125275074 I returned to Stage 9 to fix 13 frames. And I saved a lot of time on the last level, principally the last boss, which I saved 1508 frames, thanks for a new strategy that includes much better optimization, L+R glitch, and fireballs. Input ends after pressing the button attack to deliver a last hit. So, I ended 159-161 frames earlier than Dadoc's published run. Due of this, the last text message isn't skipped. So, requires wait until finishes.

Wow that Handicap Trick reminds Genesis Aladdin Level 7 (Carpet Level), where in a TAS, Aladdin dies 3 times in order to skip the stage!

WIP 3: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/36877429584238763 Stages 1-10 finished and 3402 frames ahead. I pick fireballs in order to save time on the last boss later. But using one fireball on the boss Stage 9 Sword Room saves time! Helmet collected in order to help to reduce health on the end of each Stage X Clear Screen. According from memory address, you have 5 times to use helmet and 15 times to use Wing Boots (although says 15 times, you actually have 14 times to use. And jumping each time decrease the Wing Boots use). It's now possible to beat this game under 10 minutes!

Good news, Dooty! It's now possible a new improvement on this game that I played for some years (Both SNES and Genesis version). Good luck with this run! ;) I'll look forward to seeing that TAS!

Great work on this Ring Attack! Too bad that's not possible to get the other unreachable rings. But despite this problem, this TAS is solid for me. Yes vote.

WIP 2: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/36814362418788598 Stages 1-6 finished nearly 4 minutes! 1906 frames ahead. More big luck manipulation. It's possible to get on bags until 21 gold!
